Definition, Reification, and Anthropomorphism of Entropy and the Slow Decay of the Universe
2009-09-08 08:00:39 // The Operator
You can’t win, you can’t break even, you can’t leave the game,
’cause entropy will take it all ‘though it seems a shame.
The second law, as we now know, is quite clear to state,
that entropy must increase and not dissipate.
It’s got me (it’s got my soul) – it’s wrapped up
In this throbbing mess of razor-wire, semiconductors,
Plastic debris-I can feel its pulse
Behind broken plate glass windows-and I can hear it ringing me,
From that solitary payphone on the corner.- Booze, Cthulhu, and the Weeds

… and this is the Operator speaking.
If you hadn’t guessed, I represent your entropy.
